Wedding Exit Ideas

You have kissed, cried, laughed, danced, mingled, and hopefully eaten a delicious meal. So, what’s next? How do you end your special day with a bang, and maybe even more fabulous photos?

Exits can be fun and stunning, IF planned correctly. Here are a few ideas and thoughts to think about when you are planning your wedding exit.

  1. It doesn’t always have to be at the end of the night. You can plan a fun exit as you leave the church or ceremony area.
  2. Worried not many people will be there at the end of the night, maybe they have had a little too much to drink, or maybe your photographer isn’t staying till the end of the night? Plan a ‘controlled exit!’ Gather close family and the wedding party and have these designated attendees participate in the exit. This allows you to still get those photos and the exit feel.
  3. You don’t HAVE to have an exit. If this wasn’t on your radar, and you’re so so about it. No worries, dance the night away until it’s time to go.
  4. Be sure to check with your venue on what is allowed and what isn’t allowed.
  5. Here are a few exit ideas
