The BEST Indiana Fall Wedding

October 25th & 26th, 2024

Some weddings are so special that they linger in your heart long after the last song has played. Abbey and Justin’s wedding weekend was one of those moments. From the first phone call, where they shared their vision for a two-day celebration focused on love, family, and togetherness, we knew this would be unforgettable. We’re already missing our planning meetings with Abbey, Justin, and the incredible mother of the bride, Elizabeth.

If you could ask the universe for the perfect fall wedding, Abbey and Justin must have made the request. The weather was stunning—cool, but not too cool—and the autumn leaves created the most picturesque backdrop, bursting with vibrant hues of orange, gold, and red.

Friday: Intimate Beginnings in Nashville, Indiana

The weekend began in the charming town of Nashville, Indiana. The ceremony took place in a quaint church with large windows that framed the colorful autumn scenery. As Abbey and Justin exchanged vows, the sunlight danced through the leaves outside, making for a truly breathtaking setting.

One of the most touching moments of the weekend (and a personal first for me!) was when Abbey and Justin asked me and their friend, the deacon, to sign their marriage license as witnesses. I’m still on cloud nine from the honor!

After the ceremony, Abbey changed into her mother’s wedding dress—a beautiful and sentimental nod to family tradition—for a cozy, intimate dinner with their closest loved ones. It was the perfect way to kick off their celebration.

Saturday: The Grand Celebration at Garment Factory Events

The festivities continued on Saturday with a larger celebration at Garment Factory Events in Franklin, Indiana. The day started with the bridal party getting ready onsite, while Justin and the groomsmen prepared offsite. Abbey and Justin shared a sweet first look before gathering with their wedding party and family for photos.

The ceremony, officiated by a dear friend, was heartfelt and full of joy. Following the ceremony, Abbey and Justin enjoyed a private dinner during cocktail hour. This special moment allowed them to soak in the beauty of their reception space, share their excitement, and enjoy some quiet time together before the party began.

Reception: A Night to Remember

Guests were welcomed into the reception with an unforgettable seating chart designed by Interprintations—it was impossible to miss! Inside, the room was decorated with greenery, bud vases, and a mix of farm tables and round tables that created a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Abbey and Justin made their grand entrance, cutting into a cheesecake made by a family member before sharing their first dance. The father of the bride then kicked off dinner with a touching yet humorous slideshow, setting the perfect tone for the evening.

Abbey and Justin had a chance to mingle with guests during dinner, thanks to their choice to eat beforehand. This thoughtful decision gave them extra time to connect with their loved ones. After dinner, heartfelt speeches, special dances, and a lively open dance floor kept the celebration going.

Desserts from Madison & Main were a hit, as were the late-night snack bar and coffee station provided by Garment Factory Events. Guests refueled with treats and drinks, including adorable custom stir sticks featuring mountains—a nod to Abbey and Justin’s love for adventure.

The night ended on a high note with Evan Nance keeping the dance floor packed until the very last song. Abbey and Justin shared a private last dance before exiting in style, surrounded by their guests waving colorful streamers.

Reflecting on the Weekend

Being part of Abbey and Justin’s planning process and their wedding weekend was an absolute honor. Their love, attention to detail, and focus on making their guests feel cherished made this celebration truly extraordinary.

Congratulations, Abbey and Justin—your wedding was nothing short of magical, and we’re so grateful to have been part of it!
