Annie & Patrick’s Unforgettable Wedding Day | September 28th

When it comes to downtown Indianapolis weddings, JPS Events at Regions Tower is truly one of our favorites. With its unmatched skyline views, it’s the perfect venue for couples dreaming of a city wedding with a view. On September 28th, we had the honor of coordinating Annie and Patrick’s big day, and let me tell you, their love and excitement radiated through every single detail.

A Twist in the Forecast

As wedding planners, we always emphasize the importance of having a solid Plan B—and Annie and Patrick’s wedding day was the perfect example of why! Hurricane weather brought high winds and rain to Indianapolis, throwing us a curveball. But this didn’t faze our bride and groom or their incredible wedding party, who couldn’t have been sweeter or more supportive.

The day began at the chic Bottleworks Hotel, where Annie and her party prepped in style. Despite the weather, there was a small break in the rain, allowing the couple to sneak in a few gorgeous outdoor shots. When it was time for the ceremony, we pivoted to an indoor runway-style setup that turned out absolutely breathtaking. From the aisle to the backdrop, the florals—crafted by the talented team at JPS Events—were nothing short of showstopping.

Cheers to Love and Rivalries

Cocktail hour kicked off with a nod to Annie and Patrick’s playful personalities and collegiate loyalties. Guests sipped from IU and Purdue cups, choosing sides with signature drinks that set the tone for the night. And let’s not forget the highlight of the hour: an espresso martini ice luge—a fun and fabulous touch that had everyone talking.

A Reception to Remember

The reception space at Regions Tower was a vision. The mix of high and low floral arrangements, paired with the stunning wedding party head table backdrop, created a modern and elegant atmosphere. Guests enjoyed delicious cuisine, heartfelt speeches, and special dances that were equal parts sweet and emotional.

But the night really hit its stride on the dance floor! Annie and Patrick brought the energy, and their guests followed suit. Track 7 kept the party going strong all night with an epic playlist, while cowboy light-up hats, glowsticks, and neon leis added an extra spark to the celebration. (Yes, it was lit in every sense of the word!) Midway through the night, a surprise delivery of Kilroy’s breadsticks gave guests the fuel they needed to keep dancing.

A Celebration Full of Love

Despite the unexpected weather, Annie and Patrick’s wedding day was everything a celebration of love should be: joyful, fun, and filled with unforgettable moments. Their positive energy and adaptability turned a rainy day into a truly magical experience.
