Summer, Garden themed Wedding in Carmel, Indiana

Christine & Ben’s June 22nd wedding was a dream come true—filled with heartfelt moments, stunning scenery, and endless celebration. From the very start, working with Christine, Ben, and Christine’s mother, Mary, was such a joy! Even though the couple is based out of state, every meeting was a blast; meetings were filled with laughter, thoughtful planning, and new personalized touches that reflected the couple’s love story. Whenever they were in town, we made the most of our time, creating special details that brought their whimsical, garden-themed wedding to life.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect summer day. While it was hot, the shade provided by mature trees at Black Iris Estate offered a cooling breeze that made the day comfortable for everyone. The ceremony took place in the beautiful chapel, officiated by Christine’s uncle, adding a heartfelt and personal touch. One of our favorite new traditions was Christine being walked down the aisle by both of her parents—a moment that added extra warmth to an already meaningful day.

As the sun began to set, guests enjoyed cocktails on the patio, soaking in the beauty of the longest day of the year. The reception was set perfectly as the sunset, with Christine and Ben sharing a stunningly choreographed first dance. Later, the bride’s brother gave a moving performance during the cake cutting, adding even more personal charm to the evening.

The energy and enthusiasm on the dance floor stayed high throughout the evening and into the night, with guests dancing until the very end—perhaps with a little help from the delicious espresso martinis, one of the couple’s signature drinks. From start to finish, Christine and Ben’s wedding was a perfect reflection of their love; it was filled with joy, connection, and unforgettable moments.
