Allie & David 10.11.25
Truly one of the most magical fall wedding days.
Allie and David’s October wedding at Laurel Hall was filled with intention, creativity, and heartfelt moments from start to finish. From the very beginning, planning alongside these two felt like more than just meetings….it felt like catching up with friends. From vendor conversations and design ideas to life updates, upcoming vacations, work stories, and of course updates on Oso and Mac (because yes, the furry friends were always part of the conversation), every step was filled with connection.
And now… let’s get into the details because this wedding truly didn’t leave a single one behind.

The morning began at the InterContinental Indianapolis, where Allie and her bridesmaids got ready in one suite while the guys prepped in a separate room. The atmosphere was calm, joyful, and full of anticipation — the perfect way to start such a meaningful day.
Hair and makeup unfolded at a relaxed pace, and one of our favorite personal details made an early appearance: Allie’s golden retriever button-down. A subtle nod to her love for her dog and a detail that felt perfectly her.

Once hair and makeup wrapped, Allie shared a series of first looks — first with her bridesmaids, then with her dads — three incredibly special moments filled with emotion, pride, and happy tears.

Next, it was time for Allie and David’s first look. The moment they saw each other was filled with laughter, excitement, and pure joy. Their connection was undeniable, and the photos captured every bit of that energy, a beautiful pause before the rest of the day unfolded.

As the day continued, guests made their way to Laurel Hall on the east side of Indianapolis, where both the ceremony and reception would take place. October delivered the perfect fall weather; warm sunshine, golden light, and crisp air that made being outside feel just right.
The ceremony was held on the terrace, framed by trees showing off their fall colors. Florals were arranged in a half-moon design at the altar (later repurposed at the sweetheart table), and the bridesmaids carried flower baskets instead of bouquets, a thoughtful and unique design choice that felt fresh and intentional.
The ceremony itself was filled with joyful tears, big smiles, and a heartfelt reading shared by their moms. A moment that beautifully reflected the love and support surrounding Allie and David.

Following the ceremony, Allie and David stepped away to sign their marriage license and make everything official while guests transitioned into cocktail hour. A mariachi band arrived to kick off the celebration, filling the space with live music, energy, and fun.
And then came a surprise guest — Oso 🐾
Their beloved dog joined cocktail hour, happily mingling with guests alongside his proud parents.
Signature drinks honored both Oso the dog and Mac the cat, and guests enjoyed a playful, water-based tattoo bar that kept the creativity flowing throughout the evening.

As guests entered the reception, the thoughtful design details continued. Tables featured a mix of terracotta pots, cacti, and vintage books used as table numbers… all carefully selected by the bride.
In the lobby, guests were welcomed by a display of love-story photos featuring friends and family, a piñata card box, and a favor table that truly stopped people in their tracks. The table was filled with a wide variety of candy, hot sauce, and hand-knitted keychains made by the groom’s mom, from hats and purses to cats, dogs, and fun shapes — showcasing incredible talent and love.
The creativity carried through to the hand-painted seating chart, adding yet another personal layer to the day.

Guests enjoyed dinner alongside special dances and heartfelt speeches from the wedding party and parents, moments filled with laughter, emotion, and meaningful stories.
Then it was time to celebrate. The party continued in the solarium with a packed dance floor, cake cutting, more tattoos, cigars, and an evening full of laughter and dancing. It was the kind of night where no one wanted the music to end.

Allie and David’s fall wedding at Laurel Hall was joyful, intentional, creative, and so deeply personal. It was an honor to be part of such a meaningful day celebrating two genuinely kind people.
We already miss our conversations and planning check-ins and can’t wait to see what adventures lie ahead for these two. Best Wishes!!!
