From the very first phone call with Genevieve, we knew her wedding to Zach would be something truly special. These two have one of those rare relationships where the friendship runs just as deep as the love—kind, joyful, and full of laughter. Planning with them was a dream from start to finish, and their wedding day felt like a perfect reflection of who they are together: thoughtful, fun, and full of heart.

The Morning Moments
The day kicked off with the girls getting ready on-site at the venue, which created such a calm and joyful energy from the very beginning. Genevieve, moms, and the crew shared so many sweet, emotional moments as the morning unfolded. A tear-worthy first look with her bridesmaids + brideman had us all reaching for tissues, followed by an emotional moment with her dad that reminded us just how meaningful this day was for the whole family.

Meanwhile, Zach and the guys arrived midday to change and prepare for the big moment. Before the ceremony, Genevieve and Zach shared a quiet first look, just the two of them. Giving them time to soak it all in together. It was such a beautiful, grounding moment before the celebrations began.

A Ceremony Bathed in Sunshine
The rooftop ceremony was absolutely golden…..literally. The sun cast a warm glow over the entire space as Genevieve and Zach stood hand-in-hand, surrounded by friends and family. One of the most moving parts of the ceremony was when both of their mothers sang, filling the air with so much love and emotion. It felt deeply personal, intimate, and unforgettable.

Cocktail Hour & Heartfelt Details
After the ceremony, guests flowed between the rooftop and indoor space for cocktail hour. There was such a relaxed energy as everyone mingled and enjoyed the beautiful summer evening. One of the most-loved elements? A vintage phone guest book where guests left heartfelt—and often hilarious—voicemail messages for the couple to enjoy later.

Signature cocktails named after the bride and groom added a fun and flavorful twist, while a cheese wheel display during cocktail hour had everyone saying “yes, please!” Program fans kept everyone cool in the summer heat (and looked so chic!), and the menu cards included fun facts about Genevieve and Zach, as well as notes about where each guest had traveled in from. It made the entire experience feel welcoming and personal.

Dinner, Dancing & All the Thoughtful Touches
The reception space was pure romance, with soft pops of pink woven throughout the decor. Special shoutout to Zach for fully embracing the pink accents—we love a groom who’s all in on the vision! JPS Events outdid themselves with florals that brought texture, color, and elegance to every corner of the room. Cascading floral drops created a truly show-stopping moment and added a lush, garden-like feel.

Genevieve and her mom had such an eye for texture and detail. The linens elevated every table setting, and one of our favorite personalized touches was the table numbers—each featuring a photo of the couple at that age. It was such a clever, nostalgic way to share their story, and guests loved spotting memories from different seasons of their lives. We overheard so many sweet comments: “I remember that trip!” or “That was such a fun day!”

Dinner was filled with meaningful toasts that brought both laughter and happy tears. And for dessert? Tiramisu shooters. Just the right amount of sweet to finish off the meal before the real party began.

The Party Vibe
As the sun set, guests were invited back to the rooftop for special dances under the twilight sky. The evening air, golden hour light, and music created pure magic. The dance floor quickly filled with energy and stayed packed the rest of the night.

Genevieve changed into a second outfit—playful, adorable, and so ready for the after-party. And yes, guests were handed custom bracelets granting them entry to the late-night fun.

We couldn’t imagine a better way to celebrate the longest day of the summer. Every moment felt intentional, every detail reflective of your personalities and love story.
