Downtown Indianapolis Fall Wedding at Union Station

Madeline & Jairon | November 15, 2025 | A Perfect November Wedding Day

Planning with Madeline and Jairon was the kind of experience planners dream about. Every check-in, every meeting—they showed up together, ready to make decisions but also just excited to catch up on life. They were intentional about every moment and every detail… from handwriting over 200 personal notes to their guests to crafting heartfelt thank-you speeches. These two poured their whole hearts into their day, and it showed.

So let’s dive in.

A November Day You Couldn’t Special-Order Better

If you could have asked for the perfect November wedding, November 15th delivered: not too sunny, not too cold, a soft breeze, and the clearest skies. Truly a gift.

Madeline spent her morning getting ready with her bridal crew and moms at Union Station, while Jairon hung with the guys just down the hall. The energy was relaxed but buzzing—everyone knew it was going to be a special day.

First Look Moments That Melted Us

The first look train began with Madeline revealing her final look to her bridesmaids (and her brideman!)—such a fun, joy-filled moment. Then she shared the sweetest first look with her dad in the gorgeous Union Station bar area. Cue the tissues.

Then came the big one: Madeline & Jairon’s private first look, followed by reading their vows alone in front of the stained glass windows. Just the two of them, soaking it in. It was beautiful!

Wedding party and parents hopped onto the trolley next, heading out for photos before the ceremony. And then—off to the church.

A Ceremony Full of Heart (and History)

A detail we adore: Madeline’s parents were married at the same church in November many years ago. Returning to that space to start her own marriage… it’s the kind of full-circle moment that makes you fall in love with weddings all over again.

After a sweet ceremony, guests spilled outside into the crisp November air for a ribbon exit. Then it was family photos and back onto the trolley for cocktail hour!

The Reception: Warm, Intentional, Stunning

Back at the Union Station-Grand Hall, the reception space was set to perfection. Molly and Myrtle created incredible floral arrangements, and the layout mixed rounds and rectangles for a dynamic, inviting room.

Some of our favorite touches:

  • The handwritten letters to each guest
  • Wedding photos of both sets of parents on the cake table (our new FAVORITE décor idea!)
  • A band ready to bring the house down

As cocktail hour wrapped, guests were welcomed into the Grand Hall for the big room reveal… and the reactions said it all.

We kicked things off with a grand entrance for the newlyweds, followed by cake cutting and a heartfelt thank-you speech from Madeline and Jairon. Dinner was delicious and was followed by three touching speeches—one from the bride’s father, the maid of honor, and the best man. Lots of laughter, a few happy tears, and smiles everywhere.

Dancing, Dessert, and One Unforgettable Party

Special dances were beautiful, and then Madeline and Jairon shared their first dance—ending with everyone joining them on the dance floor. Highly recommend this flow: it gets guests out there fast!

And when we say this dance floor was packed all night, we mean PACKED. Great music, great dancers, and a bride and groom who didn’t leave the floor (they even hopped on stage!).

Dessert? Iconic. Ritter’s ice cream—yes, sharing their last name—plus cake. A perfect match.

The evening wrapped with a last dance, late-night breadsticks, and fun wristbands for the after party.

The Sweetest Ending to a Special Season

As we upload this blog, we’re smiling. It’s bittersweet to close the chapter because this day and this couple—were unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better pair to spend November 15th with.

Madeline & Jairon, thank you for trusting us, laughing with us, planning with us, and inviting us into such a meaningful season. We’re so appreciative of you both and your families.

Cheers to the Ritters — your wedding was a dream to be part of!
