Anthony & Sarah’s Timeless Union Station Wedding

We absolutely loved working closely with Anthony and Sarah in the Full Planning of their wedding. From the start, we found a wonderful connection through our shared love for our pups as well as an appreciation for lake days, especially at Lake James. It was a true pleasure to collaborate with them and achieve the perfect balance in wedding planning. Since each of their jobs required much time and attention, we were able to keep them on course and take some of the stressors off their plates.

Okay, now to the details!

On a beautiful, sunny day, not too hot, not too windy . . . a literally perfect Indiana day in May, (5.18.24), Anthony and Sarah exchanged vows in the stunning Grand Hall at Union Station. They don’t call it the Grand Hall for nothing! The iconic venue sets the perfect stage for a day filled with love, laughter, and timeless elegance in the middle of downtown Indianapolis, Indiana.

Their ceremony was made even more special by the presence of a dear ,longtime friend who officiated; the participation of their treasured friend as officiant added a personal touch that served to deepen the connection between the couple and their guests. As a heartwarming surprise, their beloved Bernese Mountain Dog, Theo, played an unforgettable role, “signing” the drink list with a playful message: “Drinks on me!” He wasn’t able to attend, but he sure had guests smiling with his generosity!

While they were surrounded by a large, joyful wedding party, Anthony and Sarah’s vision came to life through a classic and clean design. They opted for a minimalist approach to florals, and extra candles cast a warm, romantic glow throughout the space. The result was an elegant and inviting setting, perfectly reflecting the couple’s style.

When it came time to celebrate, DJ Evan Nance kept the dance floor packed all night long. Guests danced the night away, only taking breaks to indulge in the delectable assortment of desserts. And, just when everyone thought the night couldn’t get any better, a BONUS late-night snack bar opened, offering fries, mini hotdogs, and other crowd-pleasers that kept the energy high until the very end.

The celebration was a perfect blend of sophistication and fun, making Anthony and Sarah’s wedding day at Union Station truly unforgettable. Here’s to their beautiful beginning, surrounded by loved ones, in a place as grand as their love story.
