From Customized items for the big day, to personalized gifts, to signage, to envelopes, to unique stationery, you name it The Lettering Grove can do it all! Samantha, the owner of Lettering Grove, specializes in the stunning art of Calligraphy. I mean, who doesn’t love to see his or her own name written beautifully or distinctive signage about an event written on a mirror, window, wood, or paper?
We were able to sit down with Samantha and pick her brain. She gave us good tips to keep in mind when considering booking a calligrapher for your event as well as extra details to consider when planning.
When thinking about signage for your wedding or event, pull out tape and a measuring tape and line it out on your floor. This way you can actually see the dimensions and adjust your vision of each sign from there.
Reuse and Repurpose items. Whether you are going to antique shops or Goodwills to find old mirrors or windows, Samantha will send you with directions on how to take off the writing after the event is over so you can reuse the item or hang it up in your space as decoration.
Write down all of your signage ideas and where you would place them at your venue. This helps you look at what Signage is most important and how much you will REALLY need on the Day of.
